This is only the second time we have been able to acquire one of these rare and iconic theatre lights and they don't hang around long. 'very Parisian Glam'. Set on a tripod of the period they look even more spectacular.
Particularly special and attractive is that it bears the makers name name CREMER across the front.
and that the light has a polished aluminium optic with original Fresnel glass lens.
It has been fully rewired with an antique style bakelite black torpedo rocker switch and 3 metres of luminescent 'Sheffield Steel' grey antique style braided, twisted fabric cable (3 Core, 3 Amps) and has a new bakelite E27 earthed lampholder. All electrical fitting and accessories have been made in the UK.
The light articulates up and down via a side bakelite knob (which also bears the name 'A.E.Cremer Paris', around its circumference) on its integral bracket. The spread or amount of light can be adjusted via the two brass dials on the front.
The lamp is in great condition and still has the original crackle glazed effect paint finish to the metal body.
This really is a design statement and would look fantastic in any environment.
The sale is for the lamp only rewired and with PAT
