A beautifully, simple one- off example of original country, utilitarian work - a - day furniture of great proportions and solid construction. Its original furniment is intact including hand forged cast two-piece iron brackets (with chunky wing nuts) and a large hook to hang utensils. Two Pairs of hinged legs and stretchers support a double plank top.

 

Amazing colour and wear commensurate with age and use. The base comes with the original coat of milk white paint in. Left in original condition with nothing more than a light wax. The table can comfortably seat six to eight people, ideal for restaurant or country kitchen.
