Rare early Circa 20th copper marine search light with Convex Prismatic glass lens and Brass Detailing.
The light measures 317.5mm depth x 292.2mm (11.5 inches) diameter. Raw original state rewired with 3 metres of braided flex the light is PAT tested and includes floor dimmer switch.
The light is mounted upon a mahogany and brass Scientific Tripod c.1829-1909. W.F. Stanley & Co of High Holborn, London manufactured some of the world's best surveying equipment c.1829-1909. This tripod with its Stanley’s patent is a stunning and classic example of Stanley's work. Marked '51310, Stanley, London, Made in England' Mahogany with brass fittings.
