Beautifully made lamp having a japanned copper fish, with angular forms and the simplest of ornamentation ending large pad leaf or heart shaped, trifold feet. Height adjustable via a simple screw key mechanism, key impressed with maker 'Finlay'. Sturdy and made to a high standard a heavy lamp with great tone and shadow to the japanned copper.

 

The lamp has been left in original patinated copper, untouched having not been polished in any form.
