A Pair of Blue & White Chinese Porcelain Hexagonal Mallet Form Lidded Urns Lampe

Kangxi period  (late 17th-early 18th century)
H: 50cm x W: 21cm, D: 21cm.

Hand painted with beautiful panelled vignettes beneath a flower and cross hatched border and lids.

Blue and white glazed, made for the European Market. They are of good scale and generous forms.

Sympathetically converted ( can easily be converted back to Urns. Sold with the original bronze urn top ring pulls and plates which once adorned the tops (see image 10)

Condition: Very Good there age is correct, evident in blue tint to the white and expected iron ore firing to rim and bases.

Unusual form, extremely decorative pair.
